Mesh Upper
Supplying your feet with a constant level of airflow and comfort, even during highly intensive running sessions, the Adistar 2s have a breathable mesh upper construction. The mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its perforated construction allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. By allowing hot, humid air to escape, the Adistar 2 ensures complete comfort at all times. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort, the lining sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risks of chafing and irritation from ruining your run. Finally, a traditional lace-up system provides you with a secure, locked-in fit, to help prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring and help you remain comfortable on the road.
REPETITOR+ MidsoleA REPETITOR+ midsole provides cushioning and comfort. Upon impact, this midsole works to cushion the foot, reducing stress and strain. This reduces the risk of injury, meaning you can take stress-free strides knowing you can tackle whatever your run throws at you. The midsole also provides springy rebounds, utilising the power generated during footstrike to power you into your next one. This reduces energy loss and gives your run that added boost for that unstoppable feeling. It also reduces fatigue, so you can push yourself further and keep going for longer. An internal cage also works to lock down the foot, providing you with optimal support that never lets up.
Continental Rubber OutsoleDeveloped using a continental rubber outsole, the Adistar 2 Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the Boost midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe. Stretchweb completes the Adistar by ensuring a flexible and energized ride. The web pattern has a large surface area that flexes naturally for increased ground feel and traction on varied terrain. The stretch web outsole lowers the amount of pressure that is generated during the footstrike and in turn, lessens the impact on your feet to minimize injury and provide increased performance.
