adidas Adizero Long Jump Spikes

Take a deep breath and get ready to fly. Helping you explode at takeoff, the adidas Adizero Long Jump Spikes grip to the runway, propelling you towards top speed. Featherlight mesh locks in your foot so you can push yourself faster and jump further. This product is made with Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials.

Breathable Mesh Upper

The Adizero Long Jump Spikes midsection consist of a breathable dual mesh that allows air to permeate the interior for ventilated support to the foot, keeping it cool while Synthetic overlays at the forefoot and across the toe box protect and hold the foot during the critical take-off stage to provide a balanced jump. It also adds more protection across the toe box for an all-around secure fitting and feeling, particularly when hitting the board or taking off to provide a balanced jump. On the interior, a COOLEVER mesh and lining have a clover-shaped yarn to manage heat and sweat reducing discomfort and increasing performance.

EVA Midsole

Adidas have added a Moulded EVA to the midsole of the spikes to handle the cushioning needs, required by jumpers throughout competitions and training. The cushioning compound reduces shock impact pressed upon the metatarsals heads and surrounding muscles for key protection and support to the underfoot. Designed for jumpers and vaulters looking for maximum flexion and support through the run-up phase to the takeoff in their respective events.

Pebax Plate Outsole

Underneath the shoe, a Pebax Plate has been added underneath the shoe for added flexibility, allowing you to handle the build-up of the approach run, vital for the needs of the jumper and vaulter. On top of the plate, is the Sharkskin outsole. This brings with it a much more and greater grip, so you can take on those greasy or wet runways and also, reduces the total weight of the shoes, for greater improvement with speed as well as control.

**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
