Breathable Mesh Upper
Constructed using a breathable textile upper, the Dropset 2 Training Shoes ensure comfort, breathability and support. The upper wraps each foot in breathable comfort so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The upper provides increased ventilation allowing the feet to breathe, creating a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. The flexible nature of the upper allows you to have an enhanced range of motion yet still promotes lockdown when moving side to side. An AIR-FLOW WINDOW works with the mesh to increase airflow in and out of the Dropset. The uppers also feature synthetic overlays, which provide additional structure to the upper of the shoe as well as protection from knocks and scrapes, keeping them looking in top condition. Completing the upper is a lace closure system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Dual Density EVA MidsoleThe midsole unit is constructed using EVA foam. The EVA runs through the entire midsole providing superb energy return and cushions you through every movement. Firmer EVA can be found outside surrounding softer EVA inside. By using the dual-density midsole adidas are able to provide a shoe with increased stability without sacrificing comfort. Within the EVA adidas has included an airflow window for breathability, keeping your feet cool, when your training heats up. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you move on hard, unforgiving surfaces. A 6mm midsole drop gives you a flat and stable platform and helps you find proper alignment in all your lifts. The shoes feature a supportive TPU sidewall for midfoot and heel stability, not only this but the shoes have a wider base also helping to increase stability and stop your ankle from rolling during heavy lifts. The outsole of the Dropset 2 is made from Traxion Rubber which offers optimal grip.
