A classic and shapely desk handmade and hand carved in Mahogany with details of Leaf and Rope Edge carvings. Available in several finish options the desk is larger in scale with quality hand craftsmanship from some of the best carvers in the world. All wood used in construction comes from replanted forests, and is kiln dried prior to construction. The item in its final form is stress and pressure tested prior to finishing to insure long lasting stability in most all climates. Each desk is a unique piece balancing quality with beauty. Fine handmade furniture made one piece at a time for many years of useful enjoyment. Featuring 5 drawers, tooled Oscar writing surface, and hand finishing that involves multiple layers of glazing, padding, distressing, and other techniques for a timeless style. Minor assembly required, the legs will need to be secured to the top, place the desk top upside down on a clean soft blanket exposing the underneath. Each leg fits into a pre cut slot and bolts in. When the legs are securely attached, carefully lift and turn the desk over and place where desired.
