We used our imaginations to rethink how an Air Max 97 could feelâwithout changing how it looked. Made with little feet in mind, the outsole is more flexible than previous editions so kiddos can spring like a kangaroo and sprint like a cheetah. We also swapped out the layers of stiff materials around the foot with a soft woven fabric and printed detail. It's time to move! Walking On Air: This kids-specific Air-Sole unit under cushy foam helps provide stability and flexibility where developing feet need them most. First In The Lace Race: Elastic laces and an internal stretchy strap make it easy to slip the shoes on and get going.
