Realised in a pale pink palette, Alexander Wang presents the ‘Awnyc Stadium’ trainers. The only sneaker silhouette in the SS20 collection, this design exchanges the label’s signature shade of black for a more feminine flourish. Stitched panels intermingle with one another, juxtaposing cowhide suede with the mesh upper, overlaid with PVC for a high-shine finish. The transparent shell gives the design an otherworldly edge, exposing the inner craftsmanship of the shoe to reveal decorative airbags in the rubber midsole. Following classic lines, the shoe is detailed with a round toe and lace-up fastening, while branding decorates the tongue, footbed and heel, which are padded for comfort. Upper: 35% Cowhide Leather, 65% Polyvinyl Chloride. Outsole: Rubber. Lining: Textile.
