This design experience has given her a wealth of knowledge about the relationship between color and texture. Her art is inspired by her understanding of fabrics and textiles coupled with her lifelong interest in flora and nature. Photography is another of her passions, and when not designing fabrics or painting, she enjoys traveling all over the world and photographing nature in exotic locations. Over the years, Devereaux has accumulated an extensive collection of photographs that capture the natural beauty of indigenous plants and wildlife from the many places she has visited.
