Arabia Moomin mug

Arabia’s Relaxing mug is part of the seasonal Moomin set for summer 2020. Based on a comic book from 1956, called "Moomin Valley Turns Jungle", the mug’s illustration features the Moomin family all set for a night of camping out in the garden. The ceramic Moomin mugs are great for serving tea, coffee as well as hot chocolate and will cheer up any table setting. New products of the Moomin Seasonals collection are released twice a year and they are available for a limited time only. The functional form of the Moomin collection comes from Arabia’s timeless Teema tableware designed by Kaj Franck. The ceramic tableware is decorated with illustrations created by Tove Slotte, with characters chosen from the original drawings by Moomin creator Tove Jansson. With the Relaxing seasonal set Arabia contributes to the #OURSEA campaign organised by Moomin Characters. The campaign celebrates the Moomins’ 75th anniversary by raising funds to save the Baltic Sea – an important and cherished source of inspiration for Moomin creator Tove Jansson, the sea often playing a significant role in the Moomin stories. For every Relaxing mug sold, Arabia will donate one euro to the conservation of the Baltic Sea.
