Arabia Moomin mug
Description
Arabia’s Garden Party mug is part of the seasonal Moomin set for summer 2023. This Moomin mug illustrates the Moomin family hosting quite a peculiar garden party: Little My has found mysterious seeds that turn the Moominvalley into a jungle overnight, and at the same time, Stinky has once again played pranks by releasing the wild animals of a nearby zoo. Luckily, the Moomins manage to win the animals' trust and become friends with them. Based on Tove Jansson’s comic “Moominvalley Turns Jungle” from 1956, Garden Party is the sixth and also the last part in the seasonal series depicting the Moomins in their summer activities. New products of the Moomin Seasonals collection are released twice a year and they are available for a limited time only. The functional form of the Moomin collection comes from Arabia’s timeless Teema tableware designed by Kaj Franck. The ceramic tableware is decorated with illustrations created by Tove Slotte, with characters chosen from the original drawings by Moomin creator Tove Jansson.
