Arabia Moomin plate
Description
The Moomin ABC Snufkin plate from Arabia is part of a special collection created in collaboration with the Finnish Red Cross, adorned with Tove Jansson’s original drawings from 1963. The illustrations were originally created for a Red Cross-themed school timetable that was handed out to children – the mug is also part of the “Reading, writing and the Moomins” initiative that promotes the importance of literacy and the joys of reading. In addition to reading and writing, Arabia and the Finnish Red Cross created the collection to promote being kind, be it with acts big or small. In Jansson’s Moomin stories, the Moomin family is kind and friendly to everyone – whether they be a moomin, a snork, a hemulen or a toffle – setting a great example to us all! In keeping with the Moomin family’s friendliness, Arabia donates 1 € for each sold plate to the compassion campaigns of the Red Cross. The ABC Snufkin plate, along with the rest for the special Moomin tableware collection, will be available for a limited time only.
