Arabia Moomin plate
Description
Arabia’s Together plate is part of the seasonal Moomin set for summer 2021. The Moomin plate features an illustration in which the Moomin family is enjoying a day at the beach: Moominpappa playing cards, Moominmamma making pancakes, and Snorkmaiden reading a book. The illustration is based on Tove Jansson's comic from 1955, called "Moomins on the Riviera", and it continues the story of the Moomin family's vacation seen in the previous Moomin summer sets. New products of the Moomin Seasonals collection are released twice a year and they are available for a limited time only. The functional form of the Moomin collection comes from Arabia’s timeless Teema tableware designed by Kaj Franck. The ceramic tableware is decorated with illustrations created by Tove Slotte, with characters chosen from the original drawings by Moomin creator Tove Jansson.
