Arabia Moomin plate
Description
Arabia’s Fishing plate is part of the seasonal Moomin set for summer 2022. The Moomin plate features an illustration in which the Moomin family is enjoying one of their favourite pastimes, fishing, continuing the story of the Moomin family's vacation seen in the previous Moomin summer sets. This time, the illustration is based on three separate Moomin comic strip stories: "Moomin and the Sea" (originally published in 1957), "Moomin under Sail" (1959), and "Moomin and the Golden Tail" (1958). New products of the Moomin Seasonals collection are released twice a year and they are available for a limited time only. The functional form of the Moomin collection comes from Arabia’s timeless Teema tableware designed by Kaj Franck. The ceramic tableware is decorated with illustrations created by Tove Slotte, with characters chosen from the original drawings by Moomin creator Tove Jansson.
