Remember being a kid, how every adult would come up to you and say something to the extent of, “Aren’t You Precious?� Why doesn’t that happen now? Do you know how many times I’ve been at Publix picking up groceries with two toddlers, feeling like death reheated in a microwave and noooooo, not one of those old ladies has come up to me said those words. Not once. Oh, they’ll say it to my kids, sure. They pinch my boys’ cute little cheeks and let my kids rub their grubby little hands on them (and I laugh because I know where those grubby little hands have been). But me? I might as well be invisible. I’m sure other mothers can relate. It’s like being pregnant. It’s all about momma, until the baby comes. Then, poof. Nothing. No, “Oh you’re simply glowing,� or, “You look amazing.� Psssh. Enough of that nonsense. So, I’m taking matters into my own hands. I’m buying this incredible top for myself, and I’ve made it my goal to compliment other women like myself that likely get overlooked.
