Asics GT-1000 12 PS Junior Running Shoes
The GT-1000 12 PS (Pre School) shoe is designed to keep energized feet in motion. A LITETRUSS support system is placed in the midsole to increase stability as kids roll through their stride. Meanwhile, E.V.A cushioning and GEL technology create good shock absorption with a softer feel underfoot. Designed with a kid's-specific last, these shoes offer a more accommodating fit for growing feet. Lastly, this style includes a solid rubber outsole, a medial wrap-up, and toe rubber stitching to improve durability.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper has been reimagined with a new engineered mesh that adjusts to your little one's natural foot shape while providing a comfortable midfoot hold. Constructed using a breathable mesh, the ASICS GT-1000 12 Running Shoes encase each foot in comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. The mesh upper creates a perfect microclimate for feet to thrive in. Overlays have been used on the upper to increase structure and support. They have been placed around the midfoot and the toe for long-lasting comfort and guidance. An Ortholite X-30 sockliner provides soft step-in comfort and a tongue wing construction helps create a more supportive fit. An external back counter further helps to improve the fit whilst also helping to increase stability. Completing the upper is a Velcro system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free fit.
FlyteFoam MidsoleFlyteFoam cushioning has been used within the midsole for a softer feel underfoot and cushioning comfort. It absorbs shock as you strike down on unforgiving ground, reducing the stress and strain put on the foot and joints, thus minimising the risk of injury. Teamed with rearfoot GEL technology, this combination creates softer landings and smoother transitions. LITETRUSS technology is placed in the midsole's inside angle to reduce pronation. It helps produce a more supportive stride while keeping overpronation at bay.
Solid Rubber OutsoleThis style includes a solid rubber outsole, combined with a medial wrap-up, for enhanced durability of the shoes. The rubber outsole can form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and grip on road surfaces. As well as this, the rubber outsole is highly durable to ensure long-lasting wear. The durable nature of the rubber will not wear down easily so these shoes will withstand long training sessions over and over again. Completing the outsole are flex grooves that assist with grip and form a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
