Perwanger Leather Upper

Constructed using Perwanger Leather, the boots offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The soft leather ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a boot you can truly rely on. The Perwanger Leather has superior waterproof characteristics; even in the most extreme conditions allowing your feet to keep dry. As well as this, the special fibre of the leather makes it possible that even the sharper rocks do not leave marks on your new shoes. The 3D thermo-shaped tongue, collar and ankle ensure the correct fit and freedom of movement, whilst the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining guarantees waterproofness and breathability.

PU Midsole

The mono-density polyurethane midsole is covered by a PU film and the EVA anti-shock absorber co-injected in the heel area assures stability, comfort and cushioning. It provides comfort and protection on uneven terrain and lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The TPU insert in the heel makes the model adaptable for semi-automatic crampons.

Vibram 1229 Mulaz Rubber Outsole

Utilising Vibram's Mont-based outsole (Mulaz), the boot has a rubberised construction that has been made more rigid to withstand the ruggedness of the terrain. The design of the outsole is prepared to effectively combat the freezing cold weather, which helps climbers perform in chilly conditions. The tip of the forefoot section is labelled 'climbing zone', which allows mountaineers to be more precise with each step.
