The first threads of Aspiga were spun in 2006, when founder Lucy Macnamara visited the master artisans of Kenya. Captivated by their artistry, she was not only inspired to empower these communities, but collaborate with them to craft jovial, beaded belts and leather sandals in exchange for financial independence.
