Although the collection is a prime example of modern Scandinavian simplicity, it also has an air of luxury and elegance of ancient palaces, as the collection was inspired by the splendour of castles and palaces of bygone days with their columns, pedestals and wooden panelings. The forms and names of the furniture have also been inspired by Daniel Buren’s art installation called Les Deux Plateaus located in the inner courtyard of the Palais Royal in Paris.
