Built to be tough outdoors the Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) Techloom Defender sneaker offers a supportive high top design with rugged durability and ultimate traction. Upper constructed of a tightly knit, non-stretch rugged TechLoom base material with strategically placed TPU overlays. Interior is lined with a 360Â° waterproof vapor barrier. Lightly cushioned textile footbed. Thumb grips on the collar. Lycra tongue allows free range of motion while the extended height of the collar maximizes wading depth. PropeliumÂ® midsole/outsole compound developed for direct ground contact, which allows for less rubber on the outsole. This reduces shoe weight in a significant manner. Propelium has been designed for maximizing energy generation, providing incredible comfort which will support midsole structural integrity longer than conventional EVA. All-terrain durability through wet winter sidewalks to the snowy mountain trails. Oversized heel counter with molded APL logo provides additional stability and heel lock.
