Description
The Spaces Places 290 GPH 20 Watt Low Water Shut-off Fountain Pump is ideal for medium fountains with a height of three to five feet or for ponds of up to 580 gallons. The pump circulates and aerates pond water, creating a balanced aquatic ecosystem and promoting a healthy, natural environment for flourishing goldfish, koi, turtles, and plants. Fountain pumps can burn out when water levels are extremely low. This pump features a built-in sensor that detects when water levels are low and automatically shuts off the pump to prevent burn-out, which can cause permanent damage to the pump. It automatically restarts when it senses the proper water level. Includes an adjustable flow control and tubing adapters. It has a maximum flow of 290 gallons per hour with a maximum pumping height of 6.5 ft. It pumps approximately 280 gallons per hour at a height of 1 ft. Compatible with 1/2 in. and 5/8 in. ID tubing, and it has a 16-foot cord. The pump is safe for fish and plants.
