Constructed using double Nubuck Leather, the boots offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The soft leather ensures long-lasting comfort whilst also providing ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a boot you can truly rely on. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX Performance membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. GORE‑TEX Performance products are made with solid outer face textiles that are more resistant to abrasion, scrapes and tears, keeping them in the best shape, to protect your feet in poor weather conditions. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A padded collar and tongue ensure a tailored fit and offer maximum comfort so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. Rubber heel and toe caps boost your stability and protection whilst locking eyelets let you control tension across your arches. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

EVA is extremely firm to absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. As well as this, a breathable, cushioned Ortholite footbed ensures long-lasting underfoot comfort. Opti-Stud OutsoleThe Berghaus Dalemaster provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear due to the Opti-Stud outsole. The outsole is designed to match your movements by pressing the ground where there is more pressure being placed, giving you maximum grip. Larger studs take the force of impact, acting as brakes. Smaller studs push into the ground for extra support. That keeps you sure and steady - even when it's unstable underfoot. The outsole is also anti-clogging so no matter how muddy the trails the shoes will have the same grip as they did when they are put on.
