To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the boot; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. An Ortholite hike footbed provides you with all-day comfort, mile after mile without leaving your feet fatigued. Vibram Rubber OutsoleDeveloped using a Vibram outsole, the Fellmaster Ridge provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole provides traction on varied terrain to give you confident footing on varied terrain.
