This premium model features the BRITA Meter, which uses three different ways to show when the filter cartridge needs changing: volume of water, water hardness and time. BRITA Cartridges should be replaced after four weeks at the latest/100 litres water consumption to ensure optimum performance. The service life of the filter cartridge depends on the local water quality. If the water is harder or water consumption is greater, the lifetime of the cartridge reduces accordingly.
