Carl Hansen & Søn’s CH008 coffee table is one of Hans J. Wegner's most iconic pieces. Designed in 1954, the minimalist coffee table is an ode to the skilful Danish craftmanship: under the solid wood tabletop is a triangular support frame that connects the slightly sloping, tapered legs to the tabletop. The CH008 coffee table is a combination of sturdy solid wood and light, soft forms, and the three-legged design makes the table well suited also for slightly uneven floors. Made by hand in Denmark, the CH008 table can easily be combined with Wegner’s iconic furniture pieces, and its timeless expression will complement both classic and contemporary decors.
