Few people know that it was first grown in South America, with its name being derived from the Inca “tomalt”. Sweet and fleshy, the fruit gives the candle a fresh, herbal scent, evoking a return to nature. The Carrière Frères scented candles regroup a range of single note like perfumes that include exotic, indigenous and aromatic essences unveiled by 18th century’ botanists and explorers. The Carrière brothers innovated and modernised the candle manufacturing process combining high quality wax, perfume and botanical essences. Crafted from the very fine vegetable wax of the Cire Trudon, the luxurious candle burns for up to 50 hours.
