Originally created by artist Kader Boly, this composition features layers of abstracted figures, creating a sense of community in the work. Reproduced on raw canvas, the natural fibers of the cotton canvas show through and create an authenticity to the art. The edges of the gicle on raw canvas are frayed by the hand of an artisan. The textile is sewn to a white bottom mat and designed with a warm black frame. The artist signs each of his pieces backwards as a way to "slow down" and take a mom.
