Before Cooking: Wash the pan in warm, sudsy water. Rinse and dry completely. Stove Top Cooking: Preheating: Match the base of the pan with the cooktop surface. Preheat the pan for two to three minutes only. Using the temperature setting recommended. Preheating longer than the recommended time could cause damage to cookware. Using Oils: Heating oil or butter to the proper temperature is important so food sears quickly, and the food does not stick. Add oil or butter for about a minute before adding food.
