One of my favorite escapes in the bustling city of Nyc is my friends studio in Brooklyn. I love raising the large doors to let the sun in and listening to the city in the distant background while I throw the clay on the potter's wheel. Pushing the clay towards the center of the wheel with one hand while using my thumbs to smooth the pieces on the wheel to create this everyday collection. In a city that is filled with energy this is the one place that my mind stops and art begins. Hope you enjoy the pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them!
