The Day of the Dead, or Dia de Muertos, is a day to celebrate and honor those who have died, and to help them on their spiritual journey. Dean Russo's designed sugar skull is a great tribute to the Mexican holiday. Clay skulls called Calaveras were traditionally decorated with bright feathers and beads in remembrance of the deceased.
