Description
One of the lower volume packs in the new Trail series, the Trail 22 is the perfect pack for alpine hikers and climbers that need a close-fitting, ventilated pack. Integrated compression straps allow for optimal volume adjustment and gear security, while comfort and load distribution are perfected with the Aircontact Trail backsystem, ActiveFit should straps and flat lid construction which allows the head to have more than enough freedom to move even with a helmet. Additional features include loops on the shoulder straps to attach carabiners, loops for an added helmet holder, pole attachments, and a two-way front zipper which creates a quick access point to buried gear. The Trail 22, along with its counterpart, the Trail 20 SL, also features stowable mesh hip fins. Aircontact Trail backsystem - A body contact back design keeps weight close to the body for effective load transfer with breathable padding made of open cell hollow chamber foam and a flexible Delrin U-shaped frame. ActiveFit pivoting S-shaped shoulder harness - automatically adjusts to the ergonomics of each wearer with a soft edge and airy 3D mesh lining. Load adjustment straps at shoulders. Mesh hip fins ensure a compact secure fit and stow quickly for versatile pack use. Pull-Forward construction makes the hip belt easy to fasten and tighten even with heavier loads. Two -way zipper in front for fast access to deeper lying gear. Accessory loops for gear or helmet holder attachment. Ice tool and hiking pole attachment loops. Loops to attach via-ferrata-set carbiners on shoulder straps. Internal compression strap in main pack body to prevent unwanted shifting of contents.
