Bring a touch of nature into your home with the Handmade Wave Giant Floor Lamp. The lamp's relaxed and oscillating design features vertically placed fossilized cocoa leaves that guide your eye along its curvy shape. The corners are framed with abaca rope, adding texture to the lamp's unique design. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in the Philippines, each of the four sides of the lamp is made from hand-placed cocoa leaves that are laminated using non-toxic adhesive. The panels are then handstitched onto a powder-coated wrought iron frame, and the corners are accented with woven abaca rope. A19 Medium Base Max 13-Watt Type SBCFL or LED. We do not recommend incandescent bulbs because the heat from the bulb can discolor the shade over time. Story Behind the Art: The founders of Eangee Home were inspired to start their business after spotting a gecko lamp while on vacation in the Philippines in 2003. After opening a small retail store to sell similar items, they realized they could bring a wider variety of unique, sustainably made products to the market by shifting their focus to becoming a distributor. They partnered with makers in the Philippines, who handcraft each item using renewable and/or recycled materials with food-based dyes and low-impact finishes.
