Eero Aarnio Originals Mushroom stool
Description
The Mushroom stool is one of Eero Aarnio’s oldest designs. The first version was created as early as 1954 when Aarnio crafted a woven rattan basket that he thought looked like a stool when turned upside down. The final form of Mushroom, then called Juttujakkara (”story stool” or ”chat stool”), was designed in 1961. The multi-purpose Mushroom stool can be used as a seat, ottoman or a night stand and it is the perfect companion for Eero Aarnio’s Elephant Boot chairs. The polyrattan version is suitable for outdoor use and therefore can also be placed on the balcony, terrace or garden.
