Finarte Hilla rug
Description
The Hilla rug was designed by Marianne Huotari for the Finnish rug company Finarte. Hilla is a Finnish word for cloudberry, which covers the vast bog lands of the Finnish Lapland. The white and green rug is hand-knotted from fluffy, semi-worsted New Zealand wool and also has a touch of Moroccan Berber style. Hilla is a smaller version of Finarte’s Suovilla rug, and its size and softness make it a perfect bedroom rug. The rug resembles a traditional tapestry rya, and it can also be placed on the wall.
