Flos 2097/18 chandelier
Description
2097/18 is a unique chandelier designed by Gino Sarfatti for the Italian brand Flos in 1958. The chrome-coloured frame of 2097/18 is surrounded by an atmospheric cluster of 18 LED bulbs. The power cords of the bulbs have not been hidden away, on the contrary: the freely flowing cords make an essential element of the chandelier’s design and give it a soft, organic character. 2097/18 is a combination of the flamboyance of traditional chandeliers and modernist style of the 1950s with a touch of simplistic, industrial aesthetics. With its diameter of 70 cm, 2097/18 catches the eye even in a large and open space, and its finely balanced elegance suits both classic and modern interiors.
