Fritz Hansen CM earthenware vase
Description
Fritz Hansen's round vase is part of a collection designed by Cecilie Manz, featuring pottery that is handmade in Seto, Japan. The area is famous for its long traditions in pottery as well as the high content of iron in the clay which gives a unique, natural touch to the vase's glazed surface: small iron spots, like freckles, emerge in the glaze during the 1230 °C burning process, making each vase unique.
