Description
Georg Jensen’s Lumis Hurricane candleholder is a lantern made from mouth-blown glass and polished stainless steel, creating charming, cosy warmth both indoors and out. The detachable, unique glass shade frames and protects the candle and its flame beautifully, and the ingenious form of the stainless steel base is designed to draw air in from below to regulate flickering. The candleholder can be used for tapered candles or pillar candles. The Lumis Hurricane candleholder is part of the Lumis collection by Danish designer Sebastian Holmbäck. The collection of stunning candleholders and a stainless steel candle snuffer are prime examples of Holmbäck’s skilful, minimalist work rooted deeply in the Scandinavian design heritage: his work flawlessly combines form and function.
