London-based contemporary footwear brand Good News present the ‘Opal Tie Dye’ trainers, made with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)-certified organic cotton corduroy uppers. The eco-conscious sneakers are fastened with organic cotton laces and feature recycled metal eyelets, rubber toe-caps and padded collars for enhanced comfort. Lightweight ‘Airfoam Eco 20’ footbeds constructed from recycled gym mats and caster bean oil provide comfort with every step. Set upon thick white soles made from a blend of recycled and natural rubbers secured to the shoe with chemical-free water-based glue, the low-tops are complete with a logo-embossed plaque at the heel.
