Haglöfs Trail Fuse GORE-TEX Walking Shoes
The Trail Fuse GT is a comfortable shoe from Haglofs, offering great traction on all terrains. A supportive midsole is powered by Asics' GEL technology giving you the comfort and cushioning you need. The breathable mesh upper has added protection where you need it most meaning that your feet will always remain protected against all obstacles.
GORE-TEX Upper
The breathable mesh upper has one aim, to keep your feet well ventilated. The structured polyester mesh keeps your feet cool and dry by allowing the sweat to escape reducing the risk of irritation as well as build up of harmful bacteria. The upper is also extremely flexible to ensure that your feet can move freely with the full protection of the shoe behind them, this means that your movements aren't restricted and you can conquer all terrains. Reinforcements around the toe, heel and side add reinforcement against terrain giving you additional durability to tackle through any trail. GORE-TEX extended comfort ensures breathable waterproofing, to make sure you're always protected from the elements. Additionally, the fluorocarbon free DWR treated surfaces repel water and dirt so these trail shoes should always be clean.
EVA Midsole
The moulded EVA midsole is aimed to cushion your feet so you feel like you don't feel the rough terrain beneath you keeping you comfortable throughout your hike or trail. Additionally, GEL rear foot cushioning is ideal for shock absorption. Asics have developed this technology to ensures your feet and ankles remain protected from the terrain, reducing the risk of injury.
AHAR Plus Outsole
Using a combination of Wet Grip Rubber and High Abrasion Resistant Rubber on the outsole, these shoes offer optimum grip in all weather conditions while also being incredibly durable. Wet Grip Rubber blends raw rubber, often used for studless snow tyres as the main material to provide improved grip on surfaces. Furthermore, different materials such as chaff are then added to the sole to penetrate the water layer, therefore increasing the contact area of the sole. Adding to this, High Abrasion Rubber has been integrated into high wear areas of the outsole such as the heel to offer further protection from the abrasions that come naturally with hiking on the rough or rocky ground. Haglofs have engineered trail-specific lugs to provide superior traction uphill and downhill on all types of terrain, making sure you have all the support you need.
