Features: Unique one-of-a-kind design Handmade by skilled weavers in India 180 knots per square inch Made from 100% wool and 100% vegetable dyes Low pile height of 0.25 inches Story Behind the Art: The Kazak rug is a type of Armenian rug that has been produced for centuries in the south Caucasus region. However, due to the limited production, this beautiful design has been recreated by the Bhadohi village weavers in Varanasi, India. The majority of these weavers are women from villages in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India who are able to support themselves and their communities through their work. The natural and vegetable dyes used in the rugs are created by local artisans, making for a sustainable and eco-friendly product. Note: As each rug is handmade, there may be slight variations in color, size and design, adding to the unique character of each piece. Imported.
