The production of rugs in the Caucasus region is limited, only done in a few villages, therefore these beautiful designs are being reproduced by Afghan weavers in the northern (Turkoman tribes) and central (Hazara tribes) parts of Afghanistan. This particular rug was made by the Hazara tribe, with 100-percent Kazni wool, and done by the village weavers within the Hazara tribe in the Bamyan province of Afghanistan, led by Ahmadi. This rug is made with 100-percent vegetable dyes. The knot count per square inch for this rug is 180. The pile height is 0.25 inches. The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen. Imported Factory sealed boxes cannot be returned if opened.
