It is crafted by women weavers from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and India. The community thrives from rug weaving as local farmers benefit from wool sales and local artisans create natural and vegetable dyes for the weavers to use in their designs. With regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning, this rug will look new for years to come. As we grow, we are able to create more jobs for female weavers who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so.
