Due to the limited production of rugs in the region, this beautiful design has been reproduced by skilled weavers in the Varanasi province of India. The majority of these weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. By creating these rugs, they are able to earn a living and support their families. The community also benefits from rug weaving as the local farmers benefit from wool sales, and local artisans create natural and vegetable dyes for the weavers to use in their designs. Care Instructions: Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your rug looking new for years to come. Please note that due to the handmade nature of these rugs, the size may vary by 3-4 inches. Additionally, slight variations in color, size, and design may occur due to the handcrafted touch of artisan skill. Color discrepancies may also occur between the product and your computer screen.
