This particular rug was handmade by weavers in the Bhadohi village of Varanasi. Due to the handcrafted nature of our rugs, slight size variations of up to 3-4 inches may occur. Regular vacuuming and professional cleaning once a year will keep your rug looking new for years. The majority of our weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. By growing our business, we can create more job opportunities for female weavers who otherwise may not have the chance to do so.
