These remnants come from the rug weaving villages of Iran and are put together to create a patchwork rug that preserves the good parts of these rugs. The weavers are mainly women who live in the villages of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. Rug weaving provides them with job opportunities they would not otherwise have had while also benefiting the local farming community through wool sales and production of natural and vegetable dyes. As a handmade product, size may vary by up to 3-4 inches. To keep it looking new, regular vacuuming and professional cleaning are recommended. Please note that due to variations in the handcrafted nature of this rug, color discrepancies may occur between the product and your computer screen. Imported.
