The warp strands are used as the foundation and the weft strands are used as both part of the foundation and in creating the patterns. Due to the handmade nature of our kilims, the size may vary from as advertised by 3-4 inches. Rug weaving benefits the local community; farmers benefit from wool sales and artisans create natural and vegetable dyes for the weavers to use in their designs. With regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning, this kilim will remain beautiful for years to come. Imported. Note: Slight variations in color, size and design may occur due to the handcrafted touch of artisan skill. Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
