The weavers use natural and vegetable dyes to create colors such as red from madder root, dark brown from walnut peel, light brown from pomegranate peel, and yellow from sparak, a wild flower from the steppes. The handmade nature of the rug means that sizes may vary slightly from the advertised size by 3-4 inches. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will help keep the rug looking new for years to come.
