DRI-Tec Upper
The Palermo Lite Walking Shoes from Hi-Tec are made with a Dri-Tec Membrane. This feature allows the shoe to prevent water getting inside of the shoe but at the same time, allows cool air to flow in at the same time as releasing warmer air. This will allow the inside of the shoe and the wearer's feet to remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. A durable suede has been chosen to construct the upper as it is a superbly durable material which will protect the shoe and foot from potentially rough and loose terrain which could cause damage. In addition to adding firm protection, the suede is extremely lightweight and comfortable. This will mean that the overall weight of the shoe is kept to a minimum, allowing you to keep going for longer without causing fatigue or tiredness. Firm material surrounds the forefoot and rearfoot, including a protective cap. This will prevent any injuries from occurring by bumps or knocks. A secure lacing system with rust-proof eyelets will allow you to find a comfortable and secure fit. The tongue is soft and padded, which will sit comfortably on the ankle, reducing the risk of irritation by rubbing or chafing. EVA Midsole

In addition, a removable EVA insole provides added underfoot cushioning and comfort. Lastly, a Forkshank has been added to the midsole to enhance the natural transition of the foot from heel-to-toe for much-needed support without additional weight and unnecessary bulk. Inside the shoe, there is also an Ortholite sockliner. This is treated with anti-microbial protection, which will prevent the growth of odour causing bacteria. As well as this, the sockliner will offer long-lasting cushioning to keep you going and preventing the feet from feeling tired and fatigued.
