The Meindl Portland GTX is a low top hiking shoe particularly versatile (walking, Nordic walking, travel ...) which displays a rather sporty look. Grippy, waterproof and breathable at the same time, the Meindl Portland GTX shoes are among the best low shoes for hiking. Thanks to their construction mixing leather (solidity) and Mesh (ventilation) as well as a lining Gore-Tex (waterproofness) and a Contagrip sole (grip), the hiking shoes Meindl Portland GTX are the reference in the trekking world. It is equipped with a Contagrip sole (licensed from Salomon) made of 3 parts: Contagrip rubber known for its grip, a full-length EVA midsole for cushioning, and a double reinforcement in nylon (with look carbon) that stabilizes the heel and the arch of the foot (and also prevents the possible penetration of nails or very strong thorns!)
