Revived from the archives, Huaka Origins emerges, blending the best of the previous Huaka 1 and Huaka 2 models. A street-ready spinoff geared towards the sartorial savvy consumer, this modern update fuses a flat-knit upper, hotmelt overlays, and oversized HOKA logo to create a head-turning silhouette. Tapping the original EVA midsole, this recent reissue utilizes a high-abrasion rubber outsole and 100% recycled polyester through the upper, tongue and laces.
Flatknit Upper
Featuring a lightweight flatknit construction these Huaka Origins Running Shoes eliminate any sweat, ensuring breathable comfort and softness swathe your foot, allowing you to focus more on your technique without distractions. Hotmelt overlays provide added durability and protection as well as structure where you need it most, whilst bungee laces make on/off easy and secure the midfoot. A removable Ortholite insole provides that extra bit of comfort before the midsole cushioning and features antibacterial and anti-odour properties ensuring a better environment for your feet.
EVA Foam MidsoleAn EVA midsole provides great rebound and better durability. It provides a bouncy ride that pushes you through the gait cycle kin comfort and a weightless feeling. A Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole in the heel and toe, creating a unique effect, like a rocking chair for your foot, encouraging a guided gait cycle. The unique feature is designed to support a runner's natural form whilst encouraging an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off.
Hi-Abrasion Rubber OutsoleWith a full ground contact design, the surface area of the foot widens giving more surface area to the outsole to grip allowing you to run without worry of slipping. Strategic Hi-Abrasion rubber zones provide more denser rubber foam in the areas that get worn down easily resulting in the shoes having more durability and allowing you to run for longer.
