Hoka One One Hoka Speedgoat 5 Women's Trail Running Shoes

This trail beast is updated with Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lug for upgraded grip and braking power on loose soil. Upgraded from their predecessors, the Speedgoat 5's have a new, and improved breathable mesh upper. This time around the Hoka Speedgoat utilises mesh materials that are designed using recycled content in creating a double-jacquard mesh construction, for an extremely durable garment that will ensure you stay at an optimum temperature and comfort. Lightweight and breathable, the mesh allows cool air to flow through the shoe removing uncomfortable heat build-up and regulating internal temperature to create a healthy environment that feet can thrive in. The fabrication hugs the foot offering lightweight support. Weight reduction comes from fewer overlays - helping Hoka work towards a more sustainable construction. Enveloping the toe and forefoot, a dynamic textile component lends exceptional flexibility and comfort during toe-off, as well as accommodating for potential footswell, a feature seen in Mafate Speed 3, Evo Mafate 2 and Evo Speedgoat. Alongside this, the shoes have an exceptionally protective toe rand for shielding against hard knocks and bumps. Refinements to the tongue further add to the feeling of enhanced comfort to the top of the foot, adjacent to the ankle where friction can occur. This updated tongue lays flat for next-to-skin comfort and prevents any dirt or debris from entering the shoes, whilst also providing ventilation to your feet, for ultimate confidence with every stride. An extended heel tab assists you in putting the shoes on easier, and a traditional lace-up construction, with recycled Polyester, provides your feet with a locked-in, secure fit so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

The midsole compound of the Speedgoat 5 is even lighter than before, delivering Hoka's signature smooth ride without reducing the stack height. The new lightweight foam has been used within the midsole to ensure a cushioned and responsive ride. This CMEVA midsole material provides lightweight cushioning, even more so than its predecessor, which keeps your feet comfortable and supported as you move through uneven terrain. The lightweight foam is also highly responsive as it works to adapt to the ground beneath you and works with the late stage Meta-Rocker to propel you forward as you move throughout the gait cycle. The light foam is ideal for this running shoe as it prevents the wearer from feeling weighed down and will keep you feeling light and quick on your feet. As well as this, the foam absorbs shock and impacts in key areas of the shoe and helps to stabilise the foot keeping you firmly on your feet. Completing the midsole is a wider platform and the toe box within the shoe is designed to provide more stability on a wide variety of terrain so you can have assured footing no matter how challenging the ground beneath you may be. The wider forefoot also ensures a more accommodating fit so you can remain comfortable for longer. Lastly, a moulded EVA sockliner adds further comfort.

Completing the Hoka Speedgoat 5 Trail Running Shoes is a Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lug outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain.
