Iwatemo HK cup
Description
Iwatemo’s HK cups have an attractive, understated look designed by Harri Koskinen. The cups have no handles, further highlighting the simplicity of the design. The cups are made by hand on the potter’s wheel. The material, soft white clay, comes from Kyusyu island located in southern Japan, and natural wood ash is used as glaze according to centuries-old Japanese production methods. Iwatemo porcelain dishes are fired 1.5 times longer than usual in order to increase their durability.
